Recently I watched this talk on Vector retrogaming from the 32c3. I've had a vectrex collecting dust for the past few years and thought it'd be cool to try to get some non-vectrex games running on it as seen in the talk.

I've followed a schematic i found posted in the issues of the github for the project. I made some comments as i went through the build, trying to get everything running. I've got it connected to a retropie built on an RPi2. I exited emulationstation compiled and ran a modified MAME as seen here.

It was fun getting this running. It's working great most of the time, i have a slight issue with the screen blanking when the drawn image takes up less than the whole screen. I think the Vectrex power board is blanking things to prevent burn in when the beam isn't experiencing a certain level of (vertical?) deflection.
